It’s been a chaotic day for Metro Vancouver residents relying on public transit.
Translink’s Anne Drennan says things are mostly back to normal.
“The only problem area is the King George Skytrain station, which remains closed due to a power outage.”
She says the shuttle buses between Metrotown and New Westminster stations will keep running until the crowds are mostly gone.
Drennan says things pretty much went according to plan.
“This kind of situation is something that you can plan for in terms of having a plan in place, but it’s always unexpected, but you’re never actually sure where you’re going to be required”
The only station not in service currently is at King George where there’s still no power.
