BC’s Independent Investigation Office has concluded its investigation into last year’s shooting at Yaletown.
61-year-old Gerald Battersby is accused of shooting a local bike shop owner on Davie Street last summer, exchanging gunfire with police, and then running off toward Science World.
Paul Dragan survived, and Battersby was shot as well.
The police watchdog says it has forwarded a report Crown Counsel, saying a police officer may have committed an offence.
It is up to Crown to determine if any charges will be laid.
An officer was injured by flying glass in the shoot out.
