Vancouver Police say they are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed last night.
Police say a 51-year-old man was crossing South East Marine Drive when he was hit.
He was rushed to hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and is co-operating with police.
VPD say they do not suspect drugs or alcohol as being factors.
It is Vancouver’s 9th traffic related fatality this year, among those seven were pedestrians.
