“We’d like to remind you that a broken window is nothing compared to an animal’s life…”
A group of Vancouver YouTubers are hoping people won’t leave their dogs in hot cars – and are using what they say is a humorous video to spread the word.
Jeremy Lee from the group ‘Life of Bri’ says their video, “The Pet Protection Goon Squad,” aims to get the important message across.
Especially during a time where it feels as though there have been so many cases of dogs in hot cars throughout Metro Vancouver.
“We did this video in a comedic way; as a satire video, right? We just feel like with humour, it’s easier for people to digest what it is, way over the top.”
In their video, the group is seen smashing car windows to free the dog.
Lee is reminding people that it is a parody video, and people should be taking the proper, lawful steps to help a dog in a hot car.
