Questions are being raised about the future of a longtime Conservative MP in Surrey.
Nina Grewal has represented Fleetwood-Port Kells for more than 10 years.
CKNW has asked if she is running in this fall’s election.
Her parliamentary assistant in Ottawa wouldn’t answer, though, only saying we’d have to talk to Grewal herself.
Grewal was away Tuesday.
Her staff say she has a campaign office set up, but no phones yet. Her website is also down.
Her family is not without political controversy.
Grewal’s son, Liv, was tossed as a Tory candidate last month in the Fraser Valley, despite winning the nomination.
Her husband, former M-P Gurmant Grewal, was disqualified from running as well.
No reasons as to why in either case.
