Federal NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair held the first Vancouver rally of the official election campaign run today in front of hundreds of his supporters.
It was a sea of hundreds of supporters in orange.
Mulcair appealed to the Vancouver crowd of supporters by promising better transit, affordable housing, and fifteen dollar a day childcare.
“Our plan is to kickstart our economy, and to strengthen the middle class.”
Mulcair attacked Stephen Harper’s job creation and economic growth record, and told the crowd British Columbians cannot afford another four years of Harper.
After the televised leaders’ debate, a poll was released on Saturday saying most British Columbians would support Mulcair the most as the next Prime Minister.
