Three separate crashes on the Coquihalla have sent eleven people to hospital, one in critical condition.
The province has issued a travel advisory to drivers on the highway, between Kamloops and Merrit because of extremely slippery conditions.
The BC Ambulance Service says the most serious accident saw one vehicle go over an embankment, about 20 kilometres south of Kamloops.
Emergency Health Services transported two patients to hospital via ambulance in another accident; both are listed in stable condition.
The highway was closed, but has since reopened.
Reports on social media indicate weather may have been a factor in the crashes.
