We all lead busy lives where it’s often difficult to balance the basics like getting enough sleep, eating healthy, and getting enough exercise. If we don’t practice good habits at an early age, we can develop problems later on in life. The Burns Bog Conservation Society wants your children to develop a lifelong connection with nature by sending your kids to the Stepping into Nature Festival.
They’ve set up an Indiegogo campaign to raise around five thousand dollars to cover the basic transportation costs for elementary school students to attend the camp.
Producer Grace Sullivan spoke with Maureen Vo, Education Coordinator at the Burns Bog Conservation Society, about what they’re hoping to achieve with this festival and campaign.
