A painting stolen at a public arts festival in Chilliwack has a recent Emily Carr graduate heartbroken and desperately hoping that it will be returned.
The series of prints was put up on the exterior of a building as part of the Art Under the Umbrella festival last weekend.
When artist Jonathan Hodges came to collect his work last Tuesday, he noticed one print was missing.
“It’s really unfortunate because I like to trust people quite a bit. You know when that trust is broken, it’s not the best feeling in the world.”
Hodges says the print took a year and a half for him to create, and was part of his final project at Emily Carr.
