Government officials are now reporting low stream flows for the South Coast And Lower Fraser areas are prompting special warnings.
A Level 4 drought rating is now in effect.
That means all water users are being urged to voluntarily ‘maximize’ conservation efforts.
Regional managers MAY take extra regulatory actions… if deemed necessary.
They will be site-specific depending on individual stream conditions. For now, everything is still in monitoring mode.
