The B.C. Lions overcame a fourth quarter, 11-point deficit and won in overtime thanks to a touchdown from Manny Arceneaux to take a thrilling 35-32 victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Lions kicker Richie Leone hit a 55-yard field goal in the game’s waning moments to force the deciding frame, one of the five he would boot on the night.
B.C. quarterback Travis Lulay was 32-for-42 on the night, connecting with Rolly Lumbala and Austin Collie on his two touchdowns, while also throwing for 371 yards. At the other end, former Lions quarterback Kevin Glenn went 23-for-29 in his return for 271 yards and two touchdowns.
The Lions travel to Saskatchewan to meet the Riders next Friday in a rematch from Mosaic Stadium.
