Police have issued another public warning after Abbotsford recorded another overdose death last week.
The victim was a woman in her mid-20’s found by a family member the morning of June 30th.
Investigators haven’t released her name, but they say preliminary tests indicate Methylfentanyl was found in her system and was likely a contributing factor in her death.
She may have used it believing it was heroin, but the drug is a more potent and dangerous form of Fentanyl.
This is the second time police have issued a warning this year.
The first time was in May.
