Port Moody Police say they rescued a dog left in a vehicle parked in the sun.
Officers were apparently unimpressed with the owners excuse.
The police force tweeted “The excuse of not knowing it was hot out was disappointing.”
Surrey RCMP says they’ve responded to 10 “dogs in distress calls” already THIS month.
The animal protection agency has received around 800 calls this year province-wide.
