It was minor, but for those in Abbotsford who felt it, it got the heart pumping.
A 3.3 magnitude earthquake struck about seven kilometres southeast of Abbotsford at about 12:45 this morning.
Callers to the CKNW newsroom says they were jolted awake. Some say the shaking lasted for about ten to twenty seconds.

The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting a slight 2.9 magnitude earthquake about seven kilometres southeast of Abbotsford.
Callers to the newsroom says they were jolted awake by a light tremor at about 12:45.

The USGS says the earthquake was at a depth of 10.9kilometres.
