Fire has ripped through a cattle barn in Abbotsford.
Firefighters were called to the blaze on Tolmie and Number 2 road shortly after 6:30am.
Freelance journalist, Kevin Macdonald says crews were able to get about 90 per cent of the cows out and heard them into the field.
Several small brush fires were also sparked because of the barn fire.
Firefighter will be there for most of the day putting out hotspots.
Haze from the fire is noticeable along the highway from Whatcom Road to Vedder Canal.
