A homeless man with a heart of gold continues to make headlines on Vancouver Island for his generosity.
West Shore RCMP Constable Alex Berube says the Langford man, who recently found two thousand dollars and turned it over to police refused to accept more money collected to help him out.
“I was overwhelmed myself by his reaction. I told him to think about this overnight. He was just very humble and good Karma.”
The man who insists on staying anonymous did ask for help finding a job, but when asked why he didn’t want the cash, he said…
“I don’t need that money right now. I’m good with getting by collecting cans.”
The money has now been donated to the “Our Place” charity and other food service providers.
