A second night in a row of shootings in Surrey has sent two men to hospital with gun shot wounds again.
Staff Sgt. Blair McColl with Surrey RCMP says it all happened around the 186 hundred block of Highway 10 around 10pm.
And it’s not the first shooting in that area.
“We did find evidence that there in fact had been some shots fired. We didn’t find any suspect vehicles or people at the scene. Checks in the area did locate two houses with damage from being struck by bullets.”
The two men were found checking themselves in to a hospital with gunshot wounds.
Both appear to have non-life threatening injuries.
McColl says it appears shots were fired between two vehicles – one of which is in police custody.
Police are asking looking for a silver Pontiac Vibe.
He can’t confirm at this time if these two weekend shootings have any connection to the recent rash in drug trade turf war shootings in Surrey.
