What would you do with $12.5-million in lottery winnings? A Delta couple gets to answer that question.
Holding their cheque for the first time on Thursday, Lisa-Marie Draganiuk and her husband Merle say it feels great.
The 33-year-old Lisa-Marie says other than making sure her mother never has to work again, their plans are up in the air.
“We’re not making any immediate decisions but, as our family is expanding, we will be looking at some real estate.”
Now they can afford a home in Vancouver — most of them, anyway.
Lisa-Marie’s ticket was one of four winners from last week’s $50-million Lotto Max draw.
The young couple have a young child, with another one on the way.
Their next stop is the bank.
