A 21-year-old man has been charged after a woman was stalked with a knife and threatened on Skytrain.
Transit police say the woman got on at Waterfront station on Tuesday and noticed a man staring at her.
He was playing with an eight-inch knife and had blood on one hand.
She tried to move away from him, but he followed her, and stopped her from getting off the train.
She finally managed to exit all the way down at Scott Road station, along with most other passengers — some of whom had alerted police.
The man followed, and was tackled by three people, who held him until police arrived.
Charged is Melvin Estuardo Ascon Carias, of no fixed address. He is known to police, and was on probation at the time.
