TransLink is finally revealing how it will say “sorry” to people who use Faresavers, monthly passes, or were on a day pass ticket when the last SkyTrain breakdown occurred.
People who use Faresaver books will get reimbursed a Faresaver ticket for the same one, two, or three zone category they were using that day.
Anyone using a daypass on May 22nd will be reimbursed in kind with another daypass.
Monthly pass users will get two Faresavers for the same zone of their pass for the ride in and back out.
But on Twitter monthly pass holders are already saying if you have a monthly pass then what good are some make up faresaver tickets?
However in order to get those Faresaver make up tickets you first need to have your original ticket, day pass, or monthly pass you used last month on the 22nd.
You can pick up your compensation tickets at the Stadium Chinatown SkyTrain customer service centre or TransLink headquarters.
On May 22nd a fire beginning in a birds nest severed an important cable, knocking out SkyTrain service from Joyce station to Waterfront through the busy morning commute.
