Another funding announcement from the province to help kids in government care.
Half a million dollars has helped set up a new website, agedout.com.
It will feature services for young people who will soon age out of the government system, to help them find a job, rent an apartment or go to post-secondary school.
In the last two weeks, the Clark government has announced funding for similar programs for youth in care — one at the YWCA and one at Covenant House.
B.C. Child and Youth in Care Week is June 1-7.
