The lawyer for the woman accused in the plot to blow up the BC Legislature on Canada Day delivered his closing arguments on Wednesday as the trial wraps up.
Mark Jette argues Amanda Korody was a bystander who got dragged into the plot.
He says when the RCMP embarked on their elaborate operation, Korody was not the target — they were focused on her husband, John Nuttall.
Jette says Korody became ensnared in the string when undercover officers pressured Nuttall to bring her along, and when he gave her orders, which she dutifully followed.
The couple faces three charges, including conspiracy to commit murder.
Crown was expected to make its final submission Wednesday afternoon.
