With just one week left in the transit referendum — so far less than half the one point five million voters have submitted their ballots.
Both sides of the referendum are out making a final push this week — Canadian taxpayer federation director Jordan Bateman spoke to CKNW’s Shane Woodford on the Sean Leslie show.
“We would like to have more simply because we think for the no side the more the merrier.”
Canadian Taxpayers federation director, Jordan Bateman is urging voters to submit their ballots, and check the “no” box.
He says if the polls are correct the “no” side looks to be in good shape.
“Certainly in Langley I can tell you the no side is way ahead. So the south fraser seems very strong for us. You know there have been media reports on internal polling that say that even in Vancouver we’re within the margin of error.”
All ballots must be in to Elections BC by 8pm May 29th.
