It’s the light at the end of the tunnel: the last week to vote in the transit plebiscite.
And the ‘yes’ side is explaining why it has hope for the upcoming ballot count.
Peter Robinson with the David Suzuki Foundation isn’t letting plebiscite predictions get the ‘yes’ coalition down.
Before the voting period began almost two months ago, pollsters said a ‘no’ vote would take the win.
But Robinson says it isn’t over until it’s over.
“When you get only half of the voters returning their ballot, you’re not really sure if that represents the proportions that were polled before hand, and, as you know…polls are consistently wrong.”
Ballots must be received by Elections BC at 8pm this coming Friday.
Robinson was speaking with Shane Woodford on the Sean Leslie Show earlier today.
