The World Trade Organization has ruled against the US over its Mandatory Country of Origin Labeling for a 4th and final time.
As a result, Canada and Mexico will be authorized to seek retaliation against the U.S. by imposing economically devastating tariffs on U.S. exports.
International Trade minister Ed Fast has confirmed minutes ago on Twitter that is exactly what Canada will do.
Fast says he is compiling a list of retaliatory measures on US agricultural and non-agricultural products
The WTO decision on Country of Origin Labeling is final with no room for appeal.
