The legendary guitar player influenced some of the greatest bands in the history of rock and roll.
B.B. King’s lawyer said he passed away peacefully at his Las Vegas home late Thursday.
Dubbed the King of the Blues, B.B. King won 15 Grammys over his career, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.
With millions of records sold worldwide, he was truly was considered one of the greats, and Rolling Stone magazine ranked him sixth on its list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time.
King was also known for naming off of his guitars Lucille, usually black Gibson guitars.
