For the second time this week and fifth time in two weeks, there has a delay to West Coast Express service.
In a tweet, Translink says train #1 is delayed by 5 minutes due to a freight train at the Port Coquitlam station.
As CKNW first reported in January, delays – previously uncommon on the commuter train route – are becoming more frequent.
Many of the hold ups on the CP owned train line have been blamed on freight trains or maintenance.
However, CP Rail and Translink are in the middle of contract negotiations.
Neither side is willing to comment on the status of those negotiations.
