If you’re missing Target in your local shopping mall, would you settle for Walmart?
The retail giant is going to spend about 350-million dollars to buy thirteen former Target Canada stores, including four in the Lower Mainland.
The Metro Vancouver locations effected are Scottsdale Mall in Delta, Coquitlam Centre, Surrey Place/Central City, and Haney Place mall in Maple Ridge.
Walmart also plans to buy Target’s distribution centre in Cornwall, Ontario.
The sale is subject to court approval.
