A mother and daughter killed in what appears to be a horrific murder-suicide in the Fraser Valley were both living with chronic pain and took to social media to talk about it.
Teen daughter was suffering
According to posts on Facebook and Twitter, 19-year-old Emily Janzen was suffering.
At times she wrote the pain was too much, tweeting “Life is the biggest waste of time” — and “I need this life to be over.”
But at other times – she showed hope.
In April she wrote “whenever I start to feel sorry for myself, I just thank God I’m still alive. I complain about all the pain, but at least I’m here to feel it.”
Mother endured chronic pain as well
Her mother appears to have been suffering too.
Laurel Janzen wrote about doctors spend 15 minutes on her illness, when she has to suffer 24/7.
A man named Randy Janzen took to Facebook on Thursday, taking responsibility for killing his daughter Emily, wife Laurel, and his sister Shelly.
Police haven’t shared many details, but admit a social media post is what started their investigation.
