The mother of a 48 year old low-functioning Autistic man missing in downtown Vancouver, says he has been found.
Nina Pickburn says Manuel Pickburn went missing around 1:00pm.
“I was very concerned that he missed the 3 oclock epilepsy medication otherwise he could have had a huge grand mal seizure in the middle of the street.”
Nina says she’s grateful for all the help finding Manuel.
“Everybody was looking after him, looking for him, but he’s been found.
Nina Pickburn says it was amazing how one care giver tracked her son down.
“A care giver from his home got in his car and went looking for him along kingsway and found him.”
Her son – Manuel had gone missing in the area of the Seabus and Waterfront Sky Train station and walked back to Kingsway.

A 47 year old low-functioning Autistic man has gone missing in downtown Vancouver, and he’s overdue for his seizure medication.
Vancouver Police say Manuel Pickburn was last seen around 1:00 p.m. in the area of the Seabus and Waterfront Sky Train Station at West Cordova and Granville Street.
He doesn’t know how to find his way home and area searches have yet to locate him.
Manuel is 5’11, 180 lbs., with light brown, balding hair, and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket, dark blue jeans and black shoes with Velcro straps. He was carrying a black nylon lunch kit.
If you see him, you are asked to call 9-1-1, and keep an eye on him until officers arrive.
