“People and elections matter, and change can happen.”
That from BC NDP leader John Horgan on seeing the face of Alberta’s politics change after 44 years of Progressive Conservatives.
Horgan adds he’s beyond thrilled for Alberta’s NDP leader Rachel Notley and her landmark, era ending win.
As for how an NDP leader next door will impact BC…
“Good news because Ms. Notley said the Northern Enbridge project should not proceed and there are other ways they can get their product to market and she wants to add more value to our bitumen. She wants to add more jobs to our oil fields by creating products that we can use here in the lower mainland.”
Premier Christy Clark has also added her congratulations for Notley, saying she looks forward to working together for a prosperous west and stronger Canada.
