A second RCMP officer involved in the 2007 death of Robert Dziekanski has been acquitted of perjury.
Constable Gerry Rundel was charged with lying during a public inquiry in the Polish immigrant’s death, which resulted from a police Tasering at YVR.
Two other officers, former Cpl. Monty Robinson and Const. Kwesi Millington, were both convicted of perjury earlier this year in the case, but must still be sentenced.
The Crown has appealed in the case of a fourth officer, Const. Bill Bentley, who was acquitted of perjury a year ago.
