Vancouver staff will present a report to council next week recommending regulating the booming medical pot industry.
Among the proposed rules: a 30-thousand dollar licensing fee.
In addition, shops can’t be near schools or community centres.
Ambrose says that while the Canadian courts have required the government to allow access to medical marijuana, it all has to be done in a controlled fashion.
