It could be months before we learn what caused the fatal cargo plane crash in the North Shore mountains on April 13th.
All the wreckage has been transported to at a warehouse in Richmond where investigators will try to piece together why the twin-engine Carson Air plane never made it to Prince George from Vancouver.
Bill Yearwood with the Transportation Safety Board says it’s too early to say if weather was a factor.
“We look at all the things that could cause an aircraft to lose control and come apart in flight that we know from the wreckage debris and the radar track that that was one of the initial events.”
The crash killed pilots 34-year old Robert Brandt and 32-year old Kevin Wang who were both from Vancouver.
