It’s going to be a great day for a morning run with the 31st annual Vancouver Sun Run takes place downtown.
Runners will be put through the places this morning for the annual ten-kilometre event, heralded as Canada’s largest 10K road race.
Back in 1985, the first run attracted just over three thousand participants.
Today’s is expected to feature over fifty thousand.
The route begins on Georgia and Burrard, will head through Coal Harbour, Stanley Park, before looping back along False Creek and finishing BC Place.
As a result, multiple road closures will be in effect throughout the morning. You can find details of those closures below.
