The search has resumed for two pilots missing from a Carson Air cargo plane that crashed Monday into the North Shore Mountains.
In the air and on the ground, efforts to find the two pilots include North Shore Rescue, the RCMP, and the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre.
But it’s no easy task. Naval Lieutenant Paul Trenholm with the JRCC says crews faced challenges yesterday thanks to low clouds and turbulence.
“This morning, we’re still dealing with low temperatures, adverse terrain and a lot of area to cover.”
The small commercial aircraft went missing just after 7 a.m. on Monday.
Debris from the wreckage was found in the afternoon.
