Vancouver Police are investigating a hit-and-run after actor Ryan Reynolds was hit by a car in the parking lot of the Shangri-La Hotel on Friday.
Constable Brian Montague confirmed in an e-mailed statement that there were no injuries to Reynolds, but added he has not been given an update confirming who the driver was.
Montague didn’t anticipate more information would be available until later.
Liz Sperandeo, PR manager with the hotel, confirmed to Global News that a guest “was involved in a motor vehicle incident” in the hotel parking garage and that emergency services were immediately called to help.
The Vancouver-born actor is in town filming the Marvel movie “Deadpool”.
