Vancouver’s Eddie Lack made twenty-eight saves – giving the goalie his second shut out of the season – as the Vancouver Canucks defeated the Arizona Coyotes 5-0.
Lack also managed to pick up his sixth shut out of his career.
Daniel Sedin, Ronalds Kenins and Dan Hamhuis contributed the goals for Vancouver, while Alexander Edler added three assists.
Captain Henrik Sedin contributed two of his own assists for the home team.
Vancouver also finished 3-for-4 on the power play.
Lack has played 22 of 23 games since Ryan Miller went down with an knee injury on February 22nd.
This was also the first game Miller dressed for since his injury.
The Vancouver Canucks will likely face the Calgary Flames in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Home ice for that series will be decided in the Flames’ and Canucks’ respective games on Saturday.
