Ryan Reynolds, locally born and bred actor, is back home filming and causing some congestion on the roads while shutting down the Georgia Viaduct from 5am to 3pm for the next couple of weeks.
But he’s not just contributing to congestion without acknowledging our fair city.
Whiterock native Ryan Reynolds knows filming his upcoming flick Deadpool on the Georgia Viaduct will be a bit of a pain for commuters, so he’s taking a moment to say thanks to Vancouver.
“Hey Vancouver, it’s Ryan Reynolds and I’m really happy to be in my hometown. You might just run in to us shooting around town so on behalf of the production and myself I want to thank the city to allow us to shoot in beautiful Vancouver, one of the most amazing film production locations in the entire world.”
While the viaduct closure is only until mid-April, Deadpool will continue to film in Vancouver until the end of May.
