“None are free until all are free!”
It’s just one of the signs held those protesting animals in captivity at the Greater Vancouver Zoo.
Dozens of people gathered at the zoo in Aldergrove, holding signs and blocking the entrance.
Protesters say animals are suffering inside the zoo and some have died in the past.
On its Facebook page, protest organizers say those deaths are “shrouded in secrecy.”
The zoo’s summer season just began on April 1st.
