The head of the BC Federation of Foster Parents is weighing in on the tragic death of Baby Isabella.
Russell Pohl says his heart goes out to the toddler’s family and her foster parents and is holding back from an opinion.
“We really don’t know all the facts.”
Pohl says he trusts the Ministry of Children and Families and the children’s watchdog to get to the bottom of it.
“We all parent differently and this is an extremely unfortunately incident, no matter what has happened. I always fall on back on this when I speak acorss the country: we all need to walk a mile in each other’s shoes.”
Isabella was 21 months old when she was found dead in her crib at her foster parents’ home in Burnaby two years ago.
Her birth mother is suing the provincial government.
