The Drought Hill fire in the Okanagan is holding steady.
The fire has not moved much overnight.
Kelsey Winter, with BC wildfire management, says there hasn’t been much change.
“The fire remains at forty hectares. The crews onsite overnight saw minimal fire activity. The day crews are currently heading back out to the fire and they made really good progress establishing guard in the afternoon and overnight, so hopefully we’ll have some containment numbers later today.”
The Drought Hill fire was discovered on Thursday, and is burning near Peachland.
