North Vancouver couple appeals to public after wedding photographs stolen

Vancouver, BC, Canada / (CKNW AM) AM980

It’s a newlywed couple’s worst nightmare.

Their wedding photos have disappeared.

A North Vancouver couple is offering a reward, after someone stole their wedding photographer’s lap top, along with hundreds of photographs from their special day.

25 year old Caitlin Henderson says she isn’t angry and doesn’t have hard feelings after someone smashed the window of Jourdan Tymkow’s vehicle and took off with the computer located in a backpack, along with some clothes.

It happened while Tymkow was shooting another wedding at the Burnaby Lake Pavilion Sunday night.

“We have flyers that we have been putting out all day. Posters we’ve been putting up at bus stops in Burnaby. Really just hoping that people can see what happened from our perspective, and we are hopeful that somehow those photos will find their way back to us.”

It appears Caitlin is more worried about her friend’s reputation.

“She did us a big favour by coming, and because we know her on a personal level, she did us a big favour. We are really grateful for her to be there. I feel bad for her.”

Henderson and Tymkow are offering a $500 reward.
