After signing one of their two 2014 first-round picks in Jared McCann to an entry level contract yesterday, the Vancouver Canucks signed the other by inking Jake Virtanen to one this afternoon.
The sixth overall selection in June’s draft broke the news via Twitter shortly before the club made it official by release a couple hours later.
Such an honour to sign with the Vancouver Canucks ! I’d like to thank everybody who’s helped me get to this point especially my family !!
