A three year old girl was rushed to hospital this afternoon after falling out of a third-storey window.

Surrey Fire and Rescue Battalion Chief Steve Zecchel says emergency crews were called to a home in the 9400-block of 128th street in Cedar Hills.

“When they arrived the daughter, it was a female, was in the father’s arms, she had difficulty breathing, and due to the nature of the call, an ambulance was there real quick, they just packaged her up and took her to the hospital right away.”

Zecchel says she may have injuries.

“There was nothing evident, no visual injuries, but there is possible internal.”

Her current condition isn’t known.

Zecchel says it’s another unfortunate reminder to make sure your kids are always supervised around open windows this summer.
