Closing arguments are underway at one of the province’s most notorious gang murder trials.
A lawyer for the Crown has presented the judge in the Surrey Six murder trial with what he calls a ‘road map’ – five volumes of material summarizing the Crown’s arguments.
Cody Haevischer and Matthew Johnston are each charged with one count of conspiracy and six counts of first degree murder for the mass killing at a Surrey apartment building in October of 2007.
The prosecutor has also warned the courtroom remarks he will be making in coming days may be disturbing to some people.
Seventy-three witnesses testified over the course of the 80-day trial.
