The Vancouver Canucks are doing the expected and looking for a quality goaltender to nurture Eddie Lack.
Veteran Ryan Miller has been in town, just days ahead of UFA Tuesday, as the Canucks try to shore up what has become a sore spot position, certainly when it comes to depth.
It’s still hard to believe that just over one year ago they had both Roberto Luongo AND Cory Schneider in the fold.
Miller isn’t getting any younger but likely still won’t come cheap. The 33 year old made $6.2 million last year in Buffalo and St.Louis. It’s tough to think the Canucks would be willing to toss that kind of loot at him.
