Vancouver Police and Fire investigators say two fires overnight appear to have been deliberately set.

The first happened about 1am when an S-U-V was found burning on Wellington Avenue at Aberdeen Street.

A vehicle parked in front of it also sustained some damage.

About a half hour later somebody set fire to an information booth and washroom on Stanley Park Drive near Avison Way.

Meanwhile, police are asking anyone with information on a fire at an apartment building on East Broadway near Fraser Street on June 7th will give them a call.

Arson investigators say it’s looking more and more as though it was intentionally set.
