Hockey mom sues coach for assault and battery

A BC hockey mom is suing her son’s coach after she was allegedly assaulted outside a dressing room.
In a notice of civil claim filed in BC Supreme Court, Vancouver doctor Donna Lee claims her 7 year old son’s coach yelled, threatened, and slammed the dressing room door against her on June 1st.
Lee says Christopher Bonkowski was attempting to prevent her from entering the dressing room before a game at the Sportsplex in Langley.
Lee claims she suffered nervous shock, humiliation and distress.
The suit alleges the assault and battery was unprovoked.
The documents describes the conduct as callous, disgraceful, outrageous, extreme, malicious, offensive, reprehensible, and a marked departure from ordinary standards of reasonable behaviour.
She is seeking general and aggravated damages.
None of the allegations have been proven in court.
