A year after the co-founder of the band Bachman-Turner Overdrive was acquitted of sex-related charges, Timothy Bachman is again facing prosecution.

Abbotsford Police say the 62-year old is accused of abuses allegedly committed during the 1990′s and the victim’s identity is protected by court order.

Bachman’s now facing charges of sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.

His bail conditions ban him from having contact with anyone under 16 or visiting any public parks, school grounds, swimming pools and community centres where children may be present.

The charges dropped last year involved an 11-year old girl abused between 2000 and 2004, but the judge determined the evidence of the alleged victim, who’s now in her 20′s, was unreliable.
